of the term of the Ju-jitsu:
The term "Ju-jitsu"
(other pronunciation - "Dzju-dzjutsu" or "Dzhiu-Dzhittsu")

first schools of the Ju-jitsu

more than 400. The largest among them, besides named above, were Aragaki-rju,
Asajama itidzen-rju, Quito - rju, Kosin-rju, Kuraku-rju, YOsin-rju, I Litter,
Ryoi sinto-rju, Sin-but sindo-rju, Sinsin-rju, Tensin sinyo-rju, JAgju-rju and

Iso
Mutaemon
-
legendary master Dzhiu-dzhitsu Iso
Mutaemon - one of the most known figures in history of the Ju-jitsu - was born
in 1800. In 15 years, it has arrived to Tokyo (then referred to Edo) with the
purpose to find the teacher of knightly craft. After numerous mytarstv it has
got in school which conducted Oribe Hitotsujanagi, continuing traditions YOsin-rju.
Here it was trained about 7 years, down to death of the teacher. Then again wandered
in searches of the best school and eventually has got to Hommu Dzyoemopu which
trained Sin-no-sindo-rju.
Some years later it has decided to leave the teacher
and to base own school. But in the beginning has gone in "musasjugyo"
- travel on various dodzyo in temples with the purpose to check up the receptions
in struggle against other masters and to acquire the sciences interesting it.
Once in settlement Kusatsu in province
